Pond Pumps
I went to Kentucky last summer to go fishing on my grandfather’s man-made pond. I never knew all the work a man-made pond entailed. I had no idea that you needed pond pumps to keep the water free of contaminants. I didn’t realize all that it took to keep fish stocked. Maybe my grandpa should have moved to a state with more natural lakes so he could have avoided this problem.
Electric Fireplace
I just stepped in from outside and I’m shivering. I wish sometimes we had a nice, toasty fireplace for days like this. I mean, where I live it doesn’t get too cold, but when it does it’s pretty intense. I remember growing up in the north and always having a fireplace. That is not the case down here, although I have heard about something called an electric fireplace insert which may be the answer I’m looking for.
